Linda is a registered teacher with over 20 years’ experience working with primary school aged children. She has a Bachelor of Education where her major fields of study were English and Special Education.

During her teaching career Linda has worked with a diverse range of students both in rural and city schools. Linda currently still has one foot in the classroom which allows her to keep up with contemporary pedagogies and teaching practices. Linda has a passion for working with children and young adolescents with learning difficulties, particularly Dyslexia.

Linda’s practice is based on the Playberry Dyslexia Solutions Structured Multi-Sensory Literacy Structure, which has its origins in the Orton-Gillingham approach. This is a highly structured, sequenced, cumulative, synthetic phonics-based methodology that is considered the gold standard in Dyslexia remediation.
